The Great Basin Consortium Summit will take place on Thursday February 1st, 2018, at the Society for Range Management (SRM) 71st Annual Meeting. The Summit Theme is Sagebrush Country: The Science of Working Lands (see the Summit Agenda). It will bring together resource managers and researchers from federal and state agencies, ranches, tribes, and other organizations to discuss what research and practice is being done on public and private lands in order to address current management challenges, and where more can be done. There are many examples of successful public-private partnerships, interagency work, and case studies to showcase.
The Great Basin Consortium individual business meetings will take place on Friday, February 2nd from 8:00-3:00. See agenda above for details.
*Note: If you are attending only the Great Basin Consortium Summit, the cost is $80, but if you are attending the SRM Conference (Jan 28-Feb 2), there is no additional cost for the Summit.
