The BLM, Carson City District, along with the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe will host a National Public Lands Day event on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Volunteers will collect seeds from native plants and the seeds collected will be available for restoration of burned areas on public and tribal lands.
Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Pelican Point on the west shore of Pyramid Lake.
Directions: From Reno, NV, head north on State Route 445, continue north past Sutcliffe, NV to Pelican Point. Signs will be posted at Pelican Point to direct volunteers to the event location.
